I have a liquor store near me that does pretty well in keeping some of the small brewery stuff in stock.  They keep telling people that shop there that if the state allows walmart and others to sell beer, that we can say goodbye to smaller places that sell the small craft beer as they won't be able to sell enough of the redneck swill, due to price competition, to keep the doors open let alone stock and sell some specialty awesomeness from some small brewery in CO.

The only liquor stores that will go out of business are the tiny mom and pop stores in strip malls  . The big liquor stores like Rymans, MDL, Bergella etc will be fine. One might even argue they can capitalize on it by specializing in the microbrew market.

If they repeal that, then bigger competition comes in and prices drop.

Plus, you can buy your booze when you buy your groceries, instead of making an extra stop.
