No, they practice, but it is all about how to do the move on the bench where you stand up, squat partly, lean back, spread your arms as if you need to restrain the other players from going on to the court, all while making some "oooooooh" face.  KU's bench has this down.  Their walk on coach has got to be in high demand.

Also, they practice to better their methods of applying hair gel and letting others on the team win at Xbox.
