wow, another reason to hate how polarized politics have become. Ron Paul fans scare me - in this instance, for their persistence and ability to swarm, but theyre nothing compared to the ignorant pompous reps. who cheer for crap like this.
questioning social order can be scary, but if the reach of government power like NDAA & presidential kill list doesn't already scare the crap out of you, then what does? What scares the crap out of me is 5 years ago, I would have called someone a crazy conspiracy theorist if they claimed mainstream media was a tool to push some collective agenda.
But the facts are this: Romney has been labeled as the official GOP candidate - while that is the most likely outcome - It won't be official until August. A "Ron Paul Festival" is being planned by "paul-ites" in tampa as a 3 day event before the national convention to show the fence sitter delegates that Ron Paul does have a strong following. They're already expecting upwards of 200,000 people to show up. Not only is the media not covering this, but it's actually being blocked by the GOP who has been renting out all of the major venues in Tampa, including the Florida State fair-grounds. It's common knowledge through anyone that pays attention to mainstream media that Ron Paul is unelectable, but the same media is asking republicans to vote for a pro-choice, anti-gun, socialist medicine pushing, non-evangelical christian candidate that couldn't beat out a loser 4 years ago. And this is being touted as the most important presidential election in our lifetime. The fact that there is a genuine liberty movement taking place and media refuses to acknowledge it makes me think if there is some establishment controlling things, this is scaring the crap out of them. The fact that a super majority of people can look past all of these facts above, not question anything, and listen to what they hear in main-stream media, scares the crap out of me.
