The only time during the entire competition that team KCPakr was intimidated.
"Flushing Meadows" how the f did you guys not know that.

we weren't given the chance to answer it, we passed it to you guys before the question was asked.  i think.

that score was taken from right before the DU's starting cheating their asses off

Not our fault that you losers picked the dumbest possible categories.  Kiss the belt.

Also, FLAWLESS strategy by PurpleBear and DLew to wager 0 on the final question. Risk it to get the biscuit.

It reminded me of when Snyder went for the tie against Colorado in 93.

Of course our team's valiant comeback and loss on the final question reminded me of the 95 Colorado game.

Elliot Hatcher played in the Big 8, NOT the Big 12.

I will carry the weight of this cold, hard fact with me for a long time.

We had the running back run to the middle of the field and fall to give us a better angle for a game winning field goal.

Sorry you threw a hail mary down by two.

hail mary.

hail mary?

4 cats and a squawks valiant effort was just like running a toss sweep on 4th and goal from the 2 and getting stopped 2 inches from the goal line.

We went with our bread and butter and just didn't quite get there. Next time, Next. Time.

Yeah, Reid was 2nd team AP and 1st team Coaches in the Big 8, in 1996.

For the record UW, Dies was 2nd team AP, but third team coaches and Reid (Larry) was 2nd team coaches but 3rd AP. So our two other choices were both correct.

2nd teamers were Dies, Reid, Massey, Martin, Hoskins, Clemente.

Ah, the arbitrariness of using the coaches poll over the AP poll

We''ll be back.

also, special thanks to BEFR for donating two cases of his KATPAK beer as well as ridiculously elite 3d printed stuff.  so, in summary, we know that BEFR brews beer named after goEMAW and owns or has access to a 3d printer.  pretty hot.

Funny story, walk out the the mail box today and.....BOOM

A 3d printed bottle opener that also looks like 3d plastic knuckles and is personally monogrammed for the most talented youngster of all, Winters.

The mailing label from BEFR was addressed to "goEMAW ELITE."   :shy:  So winters, you will need to swing by.
OMG  :horrorsurprise:

It was an honor to be apart of something as special as this was. It was great to see everyone again and to meet new faces. Things like this just makes me feel so elite to be a KSU Cat.

Dr. Dlew told me about the final question. Does anyone know the answer to that question? Because I think I might have got it right..

been away from computers for a few days/my fatty fest summary-

-the entire alkhatib family (parents and sisters) might be the nicest family that i've ever met.
-jeff denney (who owns auntie maes) might be my favorite person in all of manhattan.
-jeff kreuser who ran trivia for the event is incredibly generous with his time and very, very good at what he does.
-katkid pulled off something that was mistake free and went one hundred times better and smoother than i expected it to.
-trim is a money raising mastermind. amazing.
-a brown and c harp coming down and posing for pictures and glad handing for ten minutes was like me putting a little bit of lime juice on my la hacienda tacos. not needed, but man it just makes something amazing even more so and i don't even know how it's possible. amazing guys to do that.
-when everybody at your table says it's sanders (barry) and you erase the er at the last second because you think it was sands (tony), you better believe you'll catch grief for eternity for it. so is my lot in life.
-i did not mean to break fuscilli weird robert. sorry lynch and befr. i'll make it up to you lynch.
-i am still not 100% sure that i ordered and ate food at hibachi. i know i was there. food??? not so sure.
-next years will be even better.

I'm so happy that Bear won the championship belt.  Nobody could wear it better.

He's still wearing the belt and the same outfit from yesterday, FWIW

To make this even better I haven't showered yet since Fatty Fest.

i would've bet that way, but that is one hour that is just unaccounted for. the rest of the day, including five hours after dinner=crystal clear. dinner not so much. weird. i wonder if hibachi spiked my meal with some sort of mind erasing eraser pill. maybe i ordered that as a side instead of my usual tots.

I'd tell you to check your receipts, but I know how difficult paying for meals during K-State events can be for you.
