hey guys its a great day here in the land of lincoln and I need to get some new footwear. I usually go with sandals (flippy floppy kind with he y strap), but am willing to go beyond that if need be. I do NOT like teva looking things or berks. any good tips for me?

they quit making my go-to color combo and I'm considering finding the last pairs in my size at some online retailer and buying, like, 5 pairs

I dunno, I hate to generalize but I think you have to be white or a well known hip-hop star to wear those kind of shoes.

Do you wear then sans socks or with hide-y ones?

I think they look much better with darker legs than lighter so I think you would look smashing in them. No socks.

was my first concern when I started wearing them. they don't get smelly at all though. I think because it's all leather or something. or maybe my feet don't produce stink like some.

I don't sweat much, so maybe I could pull them off. I would need to get more yachting/boating clothes though.

I've had the same pair of sperrys for 3 years and they don't smell at all. I don't wear them super frequently though (who would?)

I wear them all the time - every day.

After about three months, they break down on me. Plus they stink.

Fantastic shoes though.

What Dlew failed to mention is that he has some of the smelliest feet on the planet. The shoes do get a bit smelly though, without socks they tend to last me about 6 months. I guess my feet are half as smelly as Dlew's.

Would recommend getting saddle soap or something like it to keep them looking new though.

I need some new shoes too. I want some light and comfortable shoes that don't hurt your feet, even though that varies person to person. My job requires standing/walking the whole time, so I want something extremely comfortable/light in the tennis-shoes/sneaker department.

I found some that don't. As long as it covers the top half of your feet, shoes will smell ok and will be comfortable.
