Thanks to Ring and other similar companies, you no longer have to be well off to afford security cameras. Can have a dang good system for under several hundred dollars a year.

yeah, I totally get that and it makes sense when you aren't at home. I just think its weird that people have these things running 24/7 and while they are home. Being a kid is a real bitch these days.

My cousin has kids at are a senior & sophomore in HS. They’ll leave them home along overnight no problem. I asked him “you think they’ll have a party” & he just laughed and said they know we can see them. I have no idea how kids have parties anymore.

Also, I don’t have life360 or any other tracking. I don’t want to be tracked.

I know right? I was with a buddy a while back having some drinks and his wife came up to him and said, "have you checked to make sure the kids are asleep". It was like midnight so a fairly reasonable request, but then I saw him pull up the app and video of his 14 year old kids room who was having a sleepover with kids laying everywhere.
