Omaha's finest(sorry sd), led KSU to Final 4 as a JR, lost in national semis to Seattle team led by Elgin Baylor.

25.6 pts and 11.3 rebs per game as a SR, team was ranked 1st in the country going into NCAA tourney that year, lost in regional finals to a Cincy team led by Oscar Robertson.

This cat was great. RIP Booz.

Stat wise, only surpassed by Beasley, and a man of character.  Stayed out of NBA a year so he could play on Olympic team with Jerry West and Oscar Robertson.  T&P's.

Not very familiar with KSU basketball history, are you?  A nearly unstoppable running hook shot, All-American two years in a row.  Played on what is arguably the greatest Olympic team ever (defeated all their opponents, and did so with a greater margin than the "Dream Team".  The man is a legend.

GTFOOMF with that talk.  They played with peach baskets.

JFC, who gives a crap about players like Beasley and Bill.  Today's recruits were barely out of grade school when they left KSU and started sitting on the bench in the NBA.

So, by your reasoning, a '64 T-bird is a piece of junk compared with those new, efficient Kia's out there.  I mean, a T-bird had one of those stupid carburetors ("peach basket").  Sorry OK Cat, I often agree with your posts, but you are way off on calling legendary Wildcat Bob Boozer a "loser".

all the old grandpas at goEMAW are getting frustrated because we (the young, hip, good smelling) won't validate some old balls dead guy.

If I had my way, I'd rip down any mention of a basketball player at KSU before Beasley.

Beasley?  Who's that?     Time to move on, Methuselah!

And for the love of crap people, at least take 30 minutes and flip through the media guide so you can at least have half a clue when you try to start commenting on this stuff.
