Are the big SEC teams like LSU, Florida and Alabama begging to be in Big 12?

Seems that by signing this deal and letting the game be in Texas they are testing the waters to get out of their diluted conference and set up shop in the rapidly growing Big 12.

Ya. I know a guy who works in the athletic department at LSU and he sent me the link to the big12/sec bowl game before it was released today (It was already in their offices). All he told me and this is *hush hush*. But "this could be just the beginning stages for something more". His word, not mine folks.

Was the whole expansion thing intended to pry the dead weight out of the Big 12 (ATM, MU), pad the coffers with their buyouts, get an SEC with NO binding Grant of Rights set up, get FSU and WVU in, then bolt leaving some pretty awful programs behind?  I think Slive is playing some pretty advanced form of chess and loser schools like MU and ATM go totally check mated.

I'm all for letting Alabama in.  LSU embarrassed themselves pretty badly but I might let them in too.  If we had to take a third, Florida isn't terrible.  I don't want any of those other crap programs though.

Agreed.  We will have to let our newest members Florida State and Notre Dame decide.

If we get ND as #13, we can get whoever we want as 14. Alabama? Sure thing. LSU? Them too. Or we get them both and Florida and call it good, just for steve dave's sake.

Florida's chances do not look good then.

But Florida is one of our sister schools, so KSU should definitely be pushing to let them in the Big 12.
