We can't let it hit the water table.   Catastrophic if it does.

Remember, if it breaks through the containment building, the sarcophagus will need to be manufactured perfectly and many will need to sacrificed to put it together.

This could be really bad.

There are only three division one football programs with more losses than K-State.  KU isn't even close to being one of them.  And let's not forget the 65-39 series advantage.

Just killing them, one by one.

The top basketball programs that can argue they are better than KU:

North Carolina
Kentucky
Duke

Carolina and Duke are about to be in something akin to Conference USA and I'm not sure if the other SEC schools even know that Kentucky is in their conference.

Think about that for a while.

KU is irrelevant from a financial and athletic perspective.  Anyone thinking otherwise is lying to themselves.

Brown has more basketball Championships than KU, the only sport they are good at, they are worse than a terrible ivy league team with a much larger endowment.

Those are your college basketball powerhouses for the next 40 years because they are the ones that care and they will have the football money.

All the Mid Majors will envy you.

Re: Manhattan vs Lawrence Big-12 track meet
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am a college track coach. The yards thing is an accurate assessment. For instance, they can't convert the 800 on that track, so its the 880 yards. The high jump apron goes downhill and is the smallest apron I have ever seen. The steeple chase is measured wrong on the men's side and they even admit that they cannot change the markings on the track....so basically the steeple chase times there are 10 seconds slower than what they should be. We hate competing there and next year, we will not go the the relays. The inside lane is completely torn up. The parts of the track that have been redone are softer and slower. KSU has a wonderful track that is much more modern than the crap hole over in Lawrence. Just my two cents

Meanwhile in Manhattan:

What did they do with the Gridiron sign?

It's stored away next to the "History Awaits" clock.

Plus I was thinking, there's no doubt the ku women's team were inspired by getting an opportunity to perform as a team at a top notch outdoor track facility.   Once again, K-State is the tide that lifts the ku boat.   So blessed.
