I call you Fitz out of love.  Just like you call me a dipshit without meaning any offense.  I can see how you misconstrued my post, however I certainly didn't mean to to say I think Martin is huge rough ridin' pussy.  Only that of the three scenarios floating around, the two most argue make it seem like he is...which I do not believe.  Thus, for the most part I take him for his word.  However, I also think he is holding back on how much he and his family didn't want to be in Manhattan and probably never really liked it.  I think he's being respectful, but I don't think he really liked it here and was probably going to be gone this year no matter what.

Not really.  I don't think he cared for Currie, and I'm not saying that tension didn't take it's toll.  However, I think from the day he took the job, his goal was to acheive enough success to an offer back to the southeast with 4 to 5 years.  I think he wanted the UM job with all his heart and was crushed that he didn't get a chance.  I think he decided that South Carolina was realistically as close as it was going to get anytime soon.  I don't believe in either the "mass exodus" theory nor the "Currie was so mean he couldn't wait another minute" theory.  Like I said, I just don't think he's that big of a pussy.
