Anyone been to Bamboo Penny? I think the wife and I are going to try it out tonight for our anniversary.

Not a KC Pizza stan at all.  The best for me is Il Laz and Milwaukee Deli/Pizza 51

yeah, I don't really have a go to for Pizza. I used to hit Pizza 51 when it was open close to my house. It was fine. Johnny Joes is prob my favorite, I guess.

I ate at the golden ox with fatty during the NCAA tournament that was hosted at Kemper.

it’s really legit bbq
i couldn’t get the big monty bc they were out of ribs and burnt ends so got a 3 meat platter- turkey, pulled pork, brisket.  all very well done

three sauces- spicy (great) kc style (sweet), mustard style.  all pretty good.  I used very little of any.

very glad that this place is close to home

Yeah, I went to the big 12 down there several times and always wondered if it's actually good, I never heard anyone vouch for it.
