Very sad.  I wouldn't be surprised if he suffered from some sort of brain injuries after all of those big hits over the years.  The future of football could be in some serious jeopardy.

Not just football.  Recent studies show things like soccer are just as bad.  It could have a pretty big effect on how physical a lot of sports are allowed to be played by refs and their individual leagues.

So, 2 years ago he drove off a 100 ft cliff after a domestic dispute, claiming to have fallen asleep at the wheel.  Looks like he got the job done on the second try.

Why would he have waited on the gun to try the car vs. cliff first?  Doesn't seem well thought out.   :dunno:

Probably had to wait to get the gun for quite a while.  California has some weird laws.
:adios:

Was hoping for a visit from him and the possibility of starting up a "getting seau'd" weekend.  No more I guess..  :dunno:

Now team #gronk..  RIP jr.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

I understand the sentiment and I am not saying you are wrong. Also completely agree that it is always sad to lose a dynamic inspirational figure.

But really WTF is wrong with people?

People are born.
Make decisions in life.
And then die from something.

This something usually has a strong correlation to those decisions.

The guy had a great go of it made millions off the game and was adored by a city for 20 plus years.

Wait, Ian in transferring?

I think he just doesn't like football.  Most of the time I get insidery PMs they note that Ian was nowhere to be seen at practice.

The '80's were so bad that it looks like we had a picture of a guy from the '70's on the front of the media guide!

In Grossmont CC's 36-7 win over San Diego Mesa, Seau posted a team leading 8 tackles, with 4.5 TFL, 1 FF, and 4 sacks.  He also recorded 2 QB hurries.
