There was one of these last year w/ another NFL'er.  That guy did it so that his brain could be studied.  He blamed his depression on damage to his head from his career.

So, 2 years ago he drove off a 100 ft cliff after a domestic dispute, claiming to have fallen asleep at the wheel.  Looks like he got the job done on the second try.

Why would he have waited on the gun to try the car vs. cliff first?  Doesn't seem well thought out.   :dunno:
