OT: Does anyone else find it annoying when "that guy" in your office comes up to you and says, "I was listening to NPR the other day and . . . " or "I heard on NPR that . . . " followed by some dull story.
Like the fact that it was on NPR some how qualifies it as important, intelligent or interesting in the least bit, or that because he listens to NPR he is some how more enlightened as to goings on of the world.

So, LickNeckey, I was driving in my BMW 7 series the other day. . . So, JohnDoogie, I was sitting in first class on United and . . . . So, edna, I was sipping a glass of Louis XIV when . . .
such a smug useless factoid irrelevant to a story I really don't give a hullabaloo about because I know "that guy" is an idiot.
