We're visiting her rich uncle in Santa Barbara this weekend.  Should be fantastic.

Sounds awesome.  I hope you have a lot of fun.

oh man.  one of my favorite places in the country.  head inland to Los Olivos for a romantic wine tasting adventure, off the beaten path.
right in the middle of the st ynez valley, you'll have access to the world's best pinot noir grapes.
Brothers' Restaurant At Mattei's Tavern just closed down, but they (the brothers) reopened a new place called Sides Hardware & Shoes restaurant.  i haven't been to the new place but Mattei's was excellent.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I'm not going to go all the way to Seattle and not see a guy throw fish to another guy.

Lets be honest, there is a lot of less than amusing posts that are plastered all over the walls of goEMAW.com.  But every once in a while, there is a gem like this one that makes it all worth it.  All the sifting through failed attempts at humor, trolling KU turds and the butthurt brigade is rewarded when you find a beauty like this.

Clap.......clap...claP...clAP...cLAP (stand up)...CLAP, CLAP, CLAP!!!!!

Flights to Tokyo are much cheaper when you depart from Seattle.

there are a bunch of tasting rooms all within a 2 block area
http://www.losolivosca.com/map.html

the wineries themselves are all spread out across the valley itself and are fun to drive around to but can be  :nono: after two glasses in one hour, heading to los olivos main street  you can drink them and not worry about driving.

my friend grows grapes for andrew murray in the valley north of town, love that wine.

Since we get the return should we do it in Wichita or KC? I think Wichita since we will already have MU in KC.

I would be fine if we never played another game in Wichita.

this is troubling.  game in KC every year is a 100% must.  Don't like Weber's "oh we kinda like kc a little bit kinda"

WONDERFUL NEWS!

December 15th, vs the Zags in Seattle, is a go.  I will be traveling with the cat-loving squawk, Dooley, of Mizzou Tiger face mashing fame.

Getting into town on Thursday, staying through Sunday.

I probably have something annoyingly unimportant that I'm currently unaware of, too, that weekend.
