internet meets irl stories are great.  this one is the best since that a&m fan told the tale of how he tore down his fence.

I enjoyed the a&m story more. This story was pretty good, too, though.

chum-

add being butthurt about the media being butthurt to the list. also call the fire dept while you're at it, we've got a four alarm butthurt fire enveloping this entire thread.

thank you for being on butthurt patrol this morning.  when someone is butthurt about journo butthurt it is exactly like when a journo inserts themselves into the story they're writing.  it's unethical, basically.

It was an interesting story when it was about an ESPN writer scamming people out of thousands of dollars. It isn't an interesting story when it's just some attention whore doing twitter attention whoring.

Kind an overrated story, imo.

i qft'd you saul, completely qft'd you.

Indeed.  So some chick and a dude scammed some other dudes out of money and a neat NBA Meme facebook page, then snuck into ESPN for a month or so before being found out ant getting the boot?  Not really a big deal in the age of fast moving information.

Only interesting thing to me is the dudes being dumb enough to give her money and the guy who gave up his website.  I mean it is basically like falling for a Nigerian Prince scam.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

It is kinda of interesting. It was unique. I mean, I read the story.  Big deal though? Nah, it seems pretty inconsequential to me.

Much ado about nothing if you ask me.
