I really wish Ron Paul wouldn't have folded on gay marriage.  That is a real shame.

Anyone else thinks its weird when the Paulites call everyone else sheep.  Sort of like when the liberals call everyone else close minded.

No.  Who's the one going against the grain and Who's the one buying into the same message that's got us into this mess?  I call people sheep because they say Ron Paul is crazy but have no facts to back it up.  At least when I call Romney a rough ridin' liar I have looked into it before hand - instead of taking someone elses word for it.

Feel free to call me a sheep when I refer to someone with a cute little word like a Romney-ite.

But back to the Electoral College.   Do you really trust people to make an informed decision with all of the crap being flung in the media?

This isn't a new topic by the way.

"Democracy is the most vile form of government... democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention: have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property: and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths." - James Madison

"Democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where 51% of the people may take away the rights of the other 49%." - Thomas Jefferson

“The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.” -Winston Churchill

Hey, I love Ron Paul and like how he sticks to his guns on the issues he believes in and I agree with most of everything he's saying.  But if you agree with every single thing he says, no matter what, then you're the sheep.

I like Romney too, I don't agree with everything he says though.  I just think he would be a better president than Paul and certainly better than that trite crybaby little crap in office right now.  If we've learned anything from the sycophant in office today, it's that being uncompromising and abrasive is a horrible way to run a country.  Obama is the Rick Santorum of the democrat party.

FYI, calling Romney a liar makes you look like you don't understand simple 4 letter words.

Who the hell says I agree with every thing he says?  I have a feeling I disagree with Ron on gay marriage & abortion.  There are also alot of libertarian views that I'm not comfortable with - such as completely privatizing public education.   I agree public education needs some work - but that seems a bit extreme.

Perhaps Fraud is a better word for how I feel about Romney... there I go with 4 letter words again.

I'm not really disagreeing. More playing devils advocate.   I'm fine with an electoral college because either way - manipulation will play it's part.  Feeling this way is what really sells me on small & non-interventionist government.

You'll have to excuse that mistake - surely it's clear, with the current delegate count, Ron Paul supporters cannot count.

Two of my favorite things, and I'm not even kidding. I wouldn't even consider throwing a party with out lots of both.

He isn't a career politician, he comes from other fine upstanding professions such as venture capitalist, private equity investor, and management consultant.
