This. Also, ants inside. Not grossed out when they are outside, but when they are crawling on the kitchen floor, definitely grossed out.
You know what's worse than ants inside? Dead ants inside.
My room (which is a complete joke) had a bunch of carpenter ants in it. Anyways, I had an exterminator come out, and he sprayed everything down and I thought that would fix it. Wrong. It just made it so that the second ants entered my room, they dropped dead. So over the course of the summer, dead ants would just stack up near my window. Hundreds of them.
Luckily, several months ago, I found the whole through which they were coming and put duct tape over it.
Problem solved.
