He saw how Arthur's career improved dramatically when he became a Wild Wild Wildcat.  We now have a LB transfer pipeline from the Florida schools.

How many years of eligability would he still have, after transfering? The story said he suffered some injuries, anyway he could get a hardship and squeeze out an extra season?

I don't think anyone ever said Heaps wasn't a good get for you guys.  The rest of your transfers are 1-and-dones who couldn't get any playing time in 4 years at ND.  Those guys have proved they aren't good at this point.  Big difference in how much those guys will help your program in 10 months over the potential impact guys like Luc and Heaps have.  Different situations.

Also, you can't add McKay to the list of "good gets" for you guys either.  After Broyles, OU's receivers were not good and they were plugging in their 2nd and 3rd stringers in trying to find someone.  They thought so lowly of McKay he wasn't even an option to them.  If he didn't transfer he was likely getting his scholarship pulled anyway.  He was on the top of the list of 10 team cancers Stoops was talking about during Bowl week that weren't going to be back because they didn't deserve to be.

Most of the kids transferring to KU will be there for one semester.  This kid would be at KSU for three years with two to play.  There is a bit of a difference there.  Also he at least played special teams and was on the depth chart at FSU.  The LB from Notre Dame who is going to KU wasn't in the two deep nor was he used on special teams.   

I'm not jumping for joy with this kid he won't be nearly as good as Aurhur but I'll take him given we don't have much young talent at LB currently on the roster.
