John Currie says UMass will round out K-State's 2013 noncon football schedule in letter to fans, along with ULL and NDSU. All three at home.

lol, UMass starts its FBS transistion this next season. Might be Bill's finest scheduling job, 2 FBS opponents, but just barely.

You guys must hate winning. Sure it's fun to watch us play Miami and such, but as SD said, it will be a rebuilding year, the round robin schedule is tough enough. And Bill is our coach, this is what he does. Oh and 8 home games, and this will add another tuneup for #Life in front of the new West Stadium Expansion.

Yeah, this year, sure, play Miami (at home). But when our team is young, as it will be next year, no sense in getting our teeth kicked in.

If we can sneak 6-7 wins in a rebuilding year, I will never complain.

I totally understand playing cupcakes with the new round robin Big 12 schedule, but it still kinda hurts deep down. Traveling to Miami last year to watch that non con game, was one of the coolest things i've ever experienced. It was like a bowl game in the 3rd week of the season.

That's a good point. They play most of their nonconference games against teams like Ohio State, Miami, West Virginia, etc. We are going to have to sustain top 15-level success for them to ever consider scheduling us.
