One day after being released from his letter of intent to Illinois, Crete-Monee senior Michael Orris flew to Manhattan, Kansas, on Saturday to make an official visit with Kansas State and ex-Fighting Illini coach oscar Weber.

But, Orris’ AAU coach cautioned against assuming Orris-to-Kansas State was a done deal.

“Obviously, you’re going to think it’s a done deal with his relationship with oscar Weber,” Scott Lidskin said Saturday. “But what if he doesn’t like the campus? What if he doesn’t like the players? I wouldn’t say it’s 100 percent.”

i personally do believe we will be getting Michael Orris, but you never know.

Friend of mine talked to Orris in Aggieville. Said he seemed very nervous and quiet. Said DJamer was the opposite and the life of the party.

I got the chance to see Darrell Johnson during my travels, after some previous time off... I see him a lot like Jam Sam, without all the stupid fouls. That may change in the Big 12(10) but, if he can be a presence like that, coming off the bench he can be a huge asset!
