If another player leaves South Carolina and there aren't any fans around to witness it or care, did it really happen?

They didn't want oscar.  They wanted a guy that wins a bunch and hasn't been fired from his last job.

I think Frank's biggest hurdle will be the fact that his "system" of building a roster has not been tested on a roster devoid of talent.

We don't know how long it will take Frank to build a program from scratch because he never had to do it.  I'm not saying he can't (he will probably do well), but we don't know how long it will take him to start seeing success.

And will South Carolina be patient?  Will they be okay with the constant Frankings?

I don't know what most of their fans think, but if they believe Frank will bring instant success, I think they're in for a pretty rude awakening.  I think he's at least a year or two away from seeing the post season down there.

He will get his players to play with more effort than the teams he will be facing. It would be much easier for him in the West than it's going to be in the East, but I think Frank will at least be able to consistently show improvement until he has the roster at a somewhat competitive level.

I haven't followed who all has left but the roster I looked at last week had considerably more talent rivals Top 150 wise than the roster he left behind.

A new coach takes over a team that was 13-35 in conference play the last three seasons and ran off players, weird.  That guy is a monster, he should have given that roster of losers a chance.

As much as I loved him, Frank will fail at South Carolina.  Book it.  Unfortunately USC won't be as loyal as Frank.... or Honest and with full disclosure would probably admit they don't even care about the keeeds man.
it’s not like I’m tired of WINNING, but dude, let me catch my breath.

previous failures don't count as one of someone's chances.

Frank sums up his new strategy at SC:

"Two nights later in Columbia at our basketball camp, a breakthrough. Breakdown? Breakthrough. It was the oddest, most unexpected thing. I began writing what they call a Mission Statement for my team. You know -- a Mission Statement -- a suggestion for the future. What started out as one page became twenty-five. Suddenly I was my father's son. I was remembering the simple pleasures of this job, how I ended up here out of high school, the way a stadium sounds when one of my players performs well on the court... And suddenly it was all pretty clear. The answer was fewer players. Caring for them, caring for ourselves, and the games too. Starting our lives, really. Hey, I'll be the first to admit it. What I was writing was somewhat "touchy feely." I didn't care. I had lost the ability to bullshit. It was the me I'd always wanted to be."
