Curie obvs subscribes to that last min cheap travel email thingy. Just imagine that he got the trip email for 75% off a cruise, called his wife to get packed because they are cruising in 24 hrs, then called the old Dir of Comp on his first layover to fire him.

Then there is hope yet. That or currie is a gigantic pussy and not only couldn't pull the trigger but had to make sure he had a good reason for not even answering his phone while it happened.

If its the hope yet thing, it would pretty much have to mean that currie isn't gonna be around long, and his cruise is not a cruise at all but the unemployment line or another job

I re-read it and it's not Jamie's position. This position reports to Jamie. The only person left on Jamie's staff is Jeff Norris and I thought his staff used to be bigger. Either they are promoting Jeff or replacing someone who left. Don't get your hopes up on Jamie being gone, he's just getting another cronny.

what an odd time to just take the entire week off and go on a family vacation. seems like there is a lot going on that currie should be involved with what with all the bball coaches and compliance people that need to be hired.
