Deviled Eggs
« on: April 06, 2012, 08:59:16 PM »
I am getting drunk and making deviled eggs tonight, and will take them to a resurrection party tomorrow.

I googled "worlds best deviled egg recipie" and came up with the below.  I am quite excited.  If you are like me, you love deviled eggs.

Quote
4 oz. cream cheese

3 tbsp. sour cream

2 tsp. dijon mustard

3 tbsp. onion, minced

1 tsp. fresh dill, minced (or more, to taste)

3 dashes Tabasco sauce

3 dashes Worcestershire sauce

I got the dill that they have "pre minced" in the vegetable section cooler thing at Super Target.

Seemed like quality dill.

It's pretty disturbing. Apparently they go around schools and collect piss from virgin boys under the age of 11. They call it the "Smell of Spring" or something.

I'd explain it too you, but I don't think you'd believe it.

Anyway eggs turned out OK.  Not great.  I think that I should have gone with one of the more dramatic recipes, with spicy stuff in them...or added about twice the amount of dill and dijon.  However, I will say that the cream cheese approach was better than the traditional mayo version.

I ate 5 deviled eggs this afternoon.  2 of them I popped the entire thing into my mouth. 3 of them were 2 bites.

That's about the exact same ratio as me.

I don't like deviled eggs.

I also don't like potato salad or beans.

But I love picnics. :dunno:

Not a big fan of deviled eggs but I always try one when avaliable.  The only good one I've ever had is no longer available.  It is gone with my grandma.  Never have ran accross one with the same taste.  My aunts use her recipe but it still doesn't taste the same.
