Tiger will make a run on Saturday and then finish 'em off in his Sunday Red!
Luke's stock is rising as Winters continues to validate his greatness. Add Luke and Winters to my list! Also, EMAWBLAST! and Tobias!

I don't get why it's different from any other golfing contest. Someone explain it please.

Masters is more fun than your average tournament because it is

1) Offers ridiculous views, scenery
2) Perfect mix of scoring and oppys to meltdown
3) Less commercials, more action

all golf courses are pretty and have meltdown oppys. the commercials seem like a good reason.

it's one of four majors, so all the best players compete.  additionally, a large majority of the players think it's the best major and the one they most want to win.  the course is also insanely difficult.

The lack of commercials is a better explanation.

they play it at the same place every year unlike other tournaments that move around so you can be all like "oh man. i totally remember tiger shanking that one into that same group of trees last year."

The Masters is great.

Bobby Jones built the course and then staged the event for the best in golf. Jones tried to get the US Open there originally. It slowly grew to become a great golf tradition, partially like daris said because its at the same place every year.

IMO the Masters and The Open (British) are the best tournaments in golf.

The masters is probably the best sporting event to nap to. Everyone whispering and politely clapping then you wake up to excited but hushed tones as something apparently important is about to happen. Beats the eff out of baseball at least.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."
