Memorable Spring Game Debuts/Moments
« on: April 03, 2012, 08:51:44 PM »
Roberson's first snap from center when he took it to the house, of course.  Pretty sure that it was played on a rainy day at Manhattan High's field.  OBz always talked about how he wished that had never happened because it was "too easy."  My dad loves talking about that.

I remember being super impressed during Freemaw's debut.  Especially the fade pass he threw into the southeast corner of the field.

Terry Petrie, some awful runningback, also had an incredible game in '06 and as soon as I got home I added him on FB because I knew he was going to be big.

He never was.

All the hype surrounding RonP's innaugural Spring Game.

GooGoo Dolls.  The Carnival.  The Draft Format.

It was a new era of K-State football.

Wait, I thought Buhl was on the Purple Team?

Well they just do that sometimes.

I enjoyed booing the crap out of the white team.   Act like it was a real game and white was the evil k-state from another dimension (thats why they are the visitors).

Why is Snyder wearing a suit?  Is he doing some kind of Schnellenberger thing?

Wait, what happened to Prince's uniforms?  Are we going back to the old ones this year?

Did the same thing. FWIW, the guy seems very EMAW judging by his Facebook statuses so I still like him.

Did the same thing too!  Also seemed to do well the very few times he touched the ball in a game.

Matt Wykes anyone?

Coffman looks great out there!

Yup. Coffman torched our second string defense his senior year. Provided a lot of game film for T-Magic
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

anyone remember practicing the "we are.... k-state" thing that they were trying to implement when prince came? i'm not sure if it was prince's idea but i remember hating it from the start. that was at the spring game right?
