i think he's going to love it there. ice cream seems to make him so happy.

Weber: "Well, it's obviously been shut down all year. Also, all winter. So, when I saw the sign out there the last couple of weeks, I've just been looking forward to this day that it opened up, I love it, my family loves it, and I just thought, 'Hey, a nice little treat for everybody and a little kind of going away get together."

Reporter: "Anywhere else you'll miss?"

Weber: "Oh, I'll be at Papa Dell's tonight. Can't miss that."

People feel bad about criticizing a guy who has a child-like love of delicious ice cream treats. Just look at those photos. He's actually on cloud nine because he's getting some f-ing ice cream. It's this stuff that will create a faction in your fanbase that will support Weber until your program's dying breath. This is how it starts. Steel yourself. If he wins, it's moot. If he doesn't, it will get ugly.

No other K-State coach ever had pics that can touch these pics. I am bought in so rough ridin' hard right now. Seriously, all I can do is daydream about happily eating ice cream with Web.

Glad I didn't read this thread earlier, this realization would have set in earlier. At least I allowed myself a few hours of "hopes up" before I read/posted myself back into depression.

This is only a sideline to the thread, but help me understand this: oscar Weber buy the team ice cream, and he is the leading example of integrity and honesty in college athletics - the coach you hire if you're a young AD petrified of the NCAA ruining the chance at your big break. Meanwhile, inviting the team over to your house for a BBQ makes you the dirtiest bastard on Earth the the NCAA basically ruins your career when you don't come clean about it. That sound about right?
