Wow, you guys are brutal. Anyone read Kellis's article and see how excited Rodney is to learn from our new coach? These guys are craving getting some real instruction from a coach with years of experience who doesn't belittle you if you miss a free throw. I have a feeling our offense is going to be vastly improved from where it was in a few short years.   Only time will tell but the players are responding well to oscar.  Maybe you should consider doing the same.

Doesn't sound like we got hosed on the head hunter.  Not like the prostitute is going to cut the rate for you if you blow your load in 45 seconds.

Also, totally cool with using the service.  I think you pretty much have to now a days.  Bad enough that I have to know that Tad Boyle and Steve Alford turned down my university.  Just a soon it isn't public knowledge.

Very good news. Thank goodness Rodney has 4 more years of eligibility.

Honest question.

Have you ever watched a Weber coached offense?

Or is this blind support for Currie/KSU?

I hate the Frank Couldn't Coach talking point.  The players aren't craving "real instruction".

Look, Todd, we understand you didn't have connections with Underwood or Gottlieb.  You did your job.

But now you're just one more nail in Currie's coffin.

Obviously blind support.  If he'd examined the evidence he'd never have said anything that glaringly stupid.  And that's before you factor in the fact that Weber will be competing in a better conference, against better coaches doing it with less talented players than he had at IL.

It's not blind support.  It's astroturfing.

There are no KSU fans stupid enough to come here and blindly support this crap without at least somewhat agreeing with our points.  None.

If there were, they would have come here long before this and they would be well known.

Man, good thing Currie never trashed Dave Odom in the past - We wouldn't have been able to pay Todd $40K + expenses!

We're quibbling here.  We didn't have to ask for permission from other athletic departments to get turned down by Tad Boyle and Steve Alford.

Yeah the tone is strikingly similar to this CaptainCrap fellow.  I suppose we should feel privileged that the athletic department saw fit to assign us one of John Currie's sycophants.   :surprised:

Do these guys make real salaries or is this one of those things where they work 365 days a year and only get paid when they place someone?

How long from when Frank announced until Friday night when Weber agreed?

Are we paying Turner approx $8,000 a day, plus expenses?  For BW?

He talked to agents for Currie. Do you expect John Currie to know how to get in contact with oscar Weber on his own?

Hold the eff on.  I thought Gene Keady called Currie unsolicited and at that point it was all but over?  Go read the edited PC transcript, it sure seems that way.

It's not over until someone's palm is greased.  Currie is probably developing goodwill with the search firm to facilitate his forthcoming placement.

good to see that currie could give his buddy 40k but he apparently changed the offer to keep underwood here at the last second. way to go currdog. way to be transparent and act with values becoming out school.

I not trying to convince you guys to like BW or even JC. I've said repeatedly that I'm not defending the hire.

cc, you obviously are defending the hire, and pretty vigorously.  the less you lie the more credibility you retain.

True.  This board can be a great ally and a great sounding board if used correctly.

Can confirm.  Players were pleased with 1st practice. I loved the tenacity and toughness Frank's teams played with.  However, any of you guys ever see the a tape of the Jack Hartman pregame ball handling/passing drills and the final weave they did prior to leaving the floor?  I don't think any of Frank's teams could have executed them.
