My gawd the man is an idiot. As if being the architect of running off the best coach in recent KSU history...he compounds it with hiring a buffoon like Weber, a coach that was so awful that Illinois was willing to swallow a $3.9M buyout to be rid of him.
Let's see...Frank goes 50-32 with an average finish of 3rd in the conference over the last 5 yrs. Weber over the same 5 yrs? 41-49 with an average finish of 6th in the conference.
Frank's salary? Scheduled to top out at $1.6M. Weber's salary at Illinois? $1.5M. Tucker Currie decides to give the incompetent Weber a raise to $1.7M (and Illinois replaces him with Groce at $1.4M).
No amount of spin can hide the atrocious results of Currie's reign over KSU basketball. He's responsible for losing a really good coach and replacing him with a clown for more money. There's no tampon big enough to stop the flow of brains leaking from Currie's butt.
