In a thread over the weekend on the main rivals board Big 12 fans were predicting the finish of this very thing.

EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE but one Texas Tech fan and OKcat (this thread) have KSU in the top 3-4. Oklahoma State fans were picking KSU ahead of their own school. Many a Texas and Oklahoma fan picked KSU either 2nd or 3rd.

Scheme doctor has everyone's respect except for a few of our own.

3rd behind WVU and OU. Could tie WVU but lose the head to head.

I have analyzed our schedule and was unable to find even one game that we would probably lose.

Yall could very well finish third. OU and Texas are the top two in my mind right now. Good news is yall get Texas at home. That away game at TCU will be tough. Rest of the schedule very manageable. I think yall finish about the same as last year. If that's the case, watch out for Arky.

You could very well be correct but I warn that you're just an outsider naming Texas just because of their recruiting, tradition, etc. it is all you know about the Big 12 from the outside. KSU has defeated Texas 4 times in a row and we have them coming to our house in December. If you know anything about the way Texas coddles their athletes and the way they feel towards cold weather you would mark that down as a W for KSU. The last time we played them it was just high 40s or low 50s and they had freaking chicken soup brought in for their players at halftime. of course the game was already out of hand by that time.

I think it's pretty reasonable. We lost two conference games this last season and return just about everybody.

I think we start 7-2, dropping games @ OU and @WV. Last three games on the sked are a crapshoot. Hoping to go 2-1 somehow. 9-3 would be amazing and likely worth a 3rd place finish.
