 :runaway:

I mean. Look at us! We have so much power. Let's just be our own search committee.

Can you imagine the story? The KSU fanbase (goEMAW) circumvents the established channels and chooses their own coach? It would be like on the cover of magazines and other things that people skim but don't fully read.

Can anyone that has contact with him politely advise him that he could secure recruits for the next few years while he's not coaching ala Huggins. It really could be easy for a oscar Pearl to have the next 2 classes locked down in the next several weeks. Hell the school could have him unofficially hired over the next month or two while he's out recruiting but neither announce it until it's ready.

Keep Underwood on the staff and have the current players prepared to play for Brucey.

Too EASY

Not sure about Currie, but the Animal is staying in Wefald's house.

That might not be the best idea. He's already falling over himself to coach our K-State Wildcats. He couldn't possibly want to be here more, so seeing this place can't really help us out.

new plan..

promote undy to interim head coach for a year like you would if you fire a coach mid-season. all the while brucey is working the 5 star back channels and preparing to mush the entire ncaa right in their collective fat face.

 :ksu:

This is the most reasonable. Underwood would have to agree to be an Interm coach due to the fact that Currie wouldn't be able to fire a KSTATER after 1-2 years.

I mean, seriously.  I'd be 100% down with that.

Get the staff in place, have him agree to our boy Underwood as the interim coach?

Let him kick back for another year and he rolls up in here like a boss in 2014 to take over the reigns.

Could it happen?

No.

But, it's a wonderful thought to divert my attention from Tad Boyle's disgusting face.

Guys, wasn't the rumor that we could have gotten Pearl had we fired Wooly a year earlier than we did? So we were one year away from getting Pearl twice?!

Undy won't agree to be the interim coach. Mostly because if he doesn't, the next likely next plan is to ask him to be the official coach.

We could just Make Larry Brown the official head coach. How long could he possibly want to coach?

Per Wikipedia: In his 38 year coaching career, Larry Brown had 13 different jobs.  His first head coaching job was at Davidson where he lasted for most of a summer before resigning.
