The status of Brad seems to be a bit unclear. Have heard some indications later morning/early afternoon today that he may very well end up staying in Manhattan.

Some of it has come from people who have had some direct contact with KSU in past few days. But, it's been run through a few people and I can't quite tell when exactly some people did or didn't talk to KSU AD folks.

Long story short, I know K-Staters would like to see him stay and it doesn't appear to be a lost cause just yet.

I was pretty down and disengaging for awhile.  Was going to go to games and golf clap or something.

Now I am again completely furious with Currie.  What a complete busch league, lazy loser.

Failing to retain and promote valued and arguably irreplacable employees?  Check.
Failing to competently conduct a nationwide search to hire the best available for the job?  Check.
Failing to negotiate a competitive salary offer for your head coach?  Check.
Failing to follow through on promises made during negotiations, resulting in the resignation of a valued employee?  Check.
Failing to provide adequate public relations efforts to retain and attract customers?  Check.

Without delving in to the depths of rumor, conspiracy and speculation it is a heck of a file.  I wonder if Currie is working on these before his next evaluation?

If we can keep Underwood it gives me a bit of hope that our toughness/pace will hold out longer than a clean sweep of the staff.  Not like Unders has much of a recruiting legacy or anything though.  Can we have take backs on offering Lowery?

I'm only #teamUnderwood if Jerrance moves into town (I have no idea what the probability is for him coming to Manhattan).  I give Underwood full credit for any success we would have with JH's recruits.  If JH does not come, then I hope Undy rides like the wind out of Manhattan so his career doesn't

yeah, Howard (or someone of equal elite recruiting prowess, though there doesn't seem to be anyone out there with any connections) is absolutely crucial.

Keeping Undy only delays the inevitable.  It probs just keeps most the current kids, but doesn't help us recruiting wise going forward.  So we bleed a while before we die.  Undy leaving may be a head shot, where undy staying is a gut shot.  Neither is appealing. 

Would rather him leave.  He deserves better.
