1).  If you think Kansas State will even consider anyone with a 'show cause' penalty, especially one like Pearl's that runs for years (through August 2014), you have not been paying attention.  Frank's gone because the KSU admin is terrified of NCAA violations.....they are not going to willingly take on Pearl's NCAA restrictions.

2). The only way Underwood will not be considered is if he is solidly in Frank's camp. Even if Currie is trying to pad his resume with a outside hire, he is smart enough to appease the tucks by 'considering' Undy for the job.

The fact that they are terrified of NCAA violations mean they are the perfect group to take a risk with Pearl - the Jamar situation will show they are serious about compliance and therefore a great fit with Pearl. And Pearl's biggest offense was lying. Lesson learned.
