fellas, we all need to change hearts and minds in EMAWville. All aboard the #Pearl4KSU train. It's our only hope.

I'll be on board with that.  Pretty much the only scenario I will accept.

I can't help but think that Currie let Martin get away for a measly $2 million per year without having already come to an agreement with Pearl.

This has crossed my mind a couple of times. Too good to be true, though.

Yeah, that type of thing doesn't happen at K-State.

being the largest reason for frank marting leaving kansas state is easily a fireable offense.

currie didn't have a say in the matter of frank leaving.  at least at this point in time.  his chance to fix things between the AD and the Basketball Dept has since past.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Listen, put your head on straight. Do you think Johnnie Compliance Currie gives to shits about a "show clause"? Currie will walk into the Show Clause hearing with suspending a senior in his last game over $200 in his hip pocket. Show Clause? pfffffffffft

This really just comes down to Currie pulling his head out of his ass and doing the right thing we don't need "lightning to strike twice" for us to go out and hire a coach who would love to coach again. Lightning struck once with Frank. I don't equate hiring a proven coach with lightning striking. If Currie doesn't hire Pearl, the Animal needs to fire him via text message.

The only way he survives is if he knocks it out of the park and hires Pearl. Pearl > Frank Martin and would be as media saavy (nationally) as FM. He's going to have to go after a big name and he's the only one that would consider KSU IMO. He's available. Currie likely has the NCAA kissing his ass for the way he handled Jamaar Samuels and pushed out FM who they can't be happy about his recent statement on paying players as a highschool coach. I'd see Currie getting the NCAA to reduce the SHOW CAUSE penalty.

Plus Pearl can FING beat KU.

Currie just needs to hire Pearl, clear things up with the NCAA since he's such a sweetie with the rules, and then GTFO.  :chainsaw: Currie can do very little at this point the clear his record enough to "let this be".

I'm fine with giving Currie a raise after this if we end up with Pearl.

Do you really think Currie will hire Pearl? The dude ran off Frank Martin, who save his vocab was by all accounts a very respectable man. Pearl seems like he is drunk, who happens to know a little about basketball. If I were you guys I would fire Currie instantly, but I'm sure your tucks won't allow that. Shame really, had real admiration for Frank.

any money that we would have left after the Pearl hire, we should have flashed at Frank. I still think for the next few years our best shot was kick Currie to the curb,  keep Frank happy, and roll 'cats.

one way i could be happier, considering Pearl is hired...

FB opener vs. Mo. St., Willie tackles Currie at midfield. and by Willie I mean Arthur Brown.  :lynchmob:

I don't know why we do this to ourselves.

 can't wait to see this madness. he's been cool under pressure before though...

how does he treat frank? talk down on him (makes currie look justified for his ways) or thank him for the time (respectful but shows it hurt currie/ksu)?  :dunno:
