Feel good for EMAW Cheyenne Zulu, the NCAA tourney is probably taking a little financial pressure off.  Heard several interviews earlier in the year and you could tell it was going to be a struggle for him to keep them in the black this fiscal year.   ku jet is parked unless they're hauling around some boosters, cheaper travel methods for teams etc. etc. etc.

Yeah, that 2.4% in revenue was just huge.  Pretty impressive KU is still leaving K-State in the dust, even in a year where our football program lost money and K-State went to a Cotton Bowl.  Wow.

If ku would have relied on football to get to $87 million, than ku would have blown away its record football revenue by factors never even seen before for ku football.

ku athletics hasn't even come close to its revenue record from the Orange Bowl/NC year, that year was until further notice a one off year.

and KU is pumping out 80-100 MD's every year.  You would think the booster total would be quite a bit more.
