Can't be too new as I recognized who "BP" was.  Guess I just never noticed how atrocious his grammar was before.

hell, that one's even better than most.  he'll usually throw a lot more random punctuation at you.

That post appears to have been written by an actual Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).  Good Lord, please tell me that guy didn't actually attend KSU. (or college in general.) Guess I just never noticed how atrocious his grammar was before.

His "post" was fine. You are the Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

Yeah, it was "fine" if you love awful grammar, and content that is inane, irrelevant bullshit.

Not sure where to put this. Got it in a PM from a sports reporter that works for one of the AM stations because he didn't want to piss off the wrong people (his words) so he will go unnamed.

ref KSU:

the 50s were 60 years ago.  people need to update their references.

does everyone realize that ww2 is almost equidistant between the civil war and today?  it's amazing.

It's not like the big money guys were big money guys in the 50's.  How in the hell would they even know how things were handled back then?

I rcvd an email from Kirk Schulz about the HCFM situation

Nothing earth shaking but might provide a small bit of insight. I am not comfortable posting his email but I can share some of the key points. I do not have any close ties to Kirk. I had sent him a brief email expressing some of my concerns about the situation and he responded. His key points: 1) Kirk has complete confidence in the way Currie is handling this.

i've never used the name "the animal" myself, as so far as i can recall.

Obviously wasn't alive for the 50s, but I would assume there were teams cheating their asses off then as well. Or doing things "by the book" back then was a lot easier because the book was much smaller.

Mark Emmert, president of the NCAA, commented on the JamSam mess during halftime of Baylor-Kentucky.

Basic message was that the NCAA puts forth 60 million dollars a year for travel expenses/misc. expenses for students, and schools have an opportunity to supply per diem.  The situation should never have occurred because jamar should have had other resources available to him.  He also said he would like to simplify the rule book, expects it to shrink in size considerably.

Also called jamar's actions an "obvious violation." Not sure if this belongs in this thread, but whatever.
