Ten win football season, 3rd straight NCAA tourney, practice facility and west side expansion.

and the bill v. currie stuff has been going around forever.

But not out in the open with someone "inside" saying specifically that it's "not good".

If Fitz is going on his board saying that, now it's common knowledge to thousands.  Obviously, it's going around via email because, hey, I got the email.

If the Currie vs. Frank thing is the Pacific theater in WW2, the Enola Fitz just dropped one Hiroshima.

who the eff are you talking about that's "inside"?  Fitz?

to repeat:

bill is a control freak who doesn't want any meddling but ultimately he isn't going to get worked up with stuff like this.  he probably does hate currie but his point of reference is the wefald regime where he was the compliance.  the fact that his name is NOW getting drug into this is a fantastic indicator that frank is staying or at least working against currie for some reason (the only reason conceivably being to get a new/better contract).  But, frank is rough ridin' weird, maybe he's just burning this rough rider down on his way out.  if he goes out that's how he will leave it.

I agree with you on all points.  I should have gone into further detail on the "inside" part because I hoped the quotation marks would have done that heavy lifting for me.

I'm not understanding what Frank burning the mumped down has to do with Fitz talking about a rift between Currie and Snyder?  I'm fairly sure that Frank doesn't give two shits about what Fitz posts on his message board.

I'm a bit of a utopian . . . I wanted to believe it was just the new young AD pissin on a few bushes letting every one know he was kind of in charge.

I just want nice things.

i still kind of think this and actually like currie in some ways. kill me. so be it. oh well.

the one thing that has always worried me and you can read through my 7k posts is his treatment of frank. it was just wrong from the beginning and he should've taken the time to know better. the other came up last year with curt and then again with jamar. if we loose frank then...

I hadn't seen it here or there that's why I asked, then again I only read like three threads on the football board.

IMO, this means Fitz is actively campaigning against Currie, and he doesn't care at this point what Currie does to him.  You don't tell your thousands of subscribers that there is a rift between Currie and Snyder unless you want them to pick a side, especially with his particular clientele.

You want to get fans to revolt against our AD?  Tell them that Snyder doesn't like him.  He'll be wearing that Scarlet A until the day he leaves.

I find it interesting that Manbeck openly criticizes the KSU AD the same day.  It's like everyone that's upset with Currie just decided to come out firing on a day where Frank looked fantastic on CBS.

Did you read my question or just quote the wrong post?  Trim had the right answer, I didn't ask why Fitz is mad, its common sense.

if we all rush currie at the same time, we can take that big rough rider out.

I tend to expand my thoughts on a subject based on the quotes in that stream.  I don't always respond directly to the question.

I don't think Frank is burning it down.  I don't think he's working with Fitz.  I think a group of people, Fitz being one of them, is trying to leverage the situation in favor of Frank.  The best way to do that is to tell people that Snyder and Currie don't get along either because, really, that's the relationship most of them care about.

Fitz has chosen his side of the battle. He's kinda like the French in WW2. He knows that Snyder is the one that butters his bread. All of the power, in his little universe, is based on the football side of the equation. Basketball is a nice side job but football powers his money stream. As to whether or not to side with Fitz on this, it goes to an old saying. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Just my 2 cents.

can't wait until we get rid of Currie and then Snyder and Frank start fighting. Because then it would REALLY be like WW2 w/ Currie being Hitler and Frank being Stalin and Snyder being America.

OK, thanks for the help getting rid of Hitler, Stalin. now I'm going to plant a story about cussing out Whitney or something.
