I could see Frank leaving.  Frank wouldn't want to leave the new coach with empty cupboards (doesn't seem to be his style).  New coach will have a brand new BBPF, an experienced team with pretty much everybody returning, and a program at its highest level in years.

The only way I see Frank staying is if ADJC pulls out the checkbook (or ADJC bails).  Frank had a great season after losing the programs top scorer in history, and made it to the 2nd round of the tournament.

We all know Frank and ADJC don't get along...but I don't think Frank and Undy get along very well either.  Just my $.02.

Come on man, it's only late March stop depressing me.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

According to multiple sources, there has been no contact between South Carolina and Frank Martin. Martin has been out recruiting last 2 days

I've always told myself that I would support whatever team Frank goes to when he leaves, but I just couldn't support South Carolina. Didn't their football team still run out onto the field under the confederate flag up until just a few years ago?

The Frank Martin to South Carolina rumors are really heating up. According to sources, Martin may have already been in contact with USC officials. South Carolina native Gregg Marshall was believed to be the #1 target, but he may have priced himself out of the game. Marshall reportedly wants a 7-year $2.5 million deal.

I find it 100% believable that Marshall thinks he's worth that much.

LOL at Frank building this program only to start over again at a dead end SEC program.  Do executives quit Coca Cola to work at Faygo?

I'll be more concerned when the Illinois rumors start heating up

They won't, because they'll get Shaka.

@JonRothstein: Sources confirm that unless something drastic changes in the next 24 hours, Shaka Smart will stay at VCU.

Columbia, SC is a terrible place to live.

Frank is going nowhere.

Illinois is not going to get a power conference coach. I don't see Grant going there either (if the Smart rumors of staying at VCU are true).

Chris Collins to Illinois is my prediction.

Because he knows he can do better.

Illinois is a decent job and obviously a step up from VCU but Shaka/Stevens are not going to leave until the perfect job comes along.
