I get it, though... you are K-State fans and you like whatever K-State does. K-State could wear K-Swiss, and you'd say it was better than adidas.

would NOT be upset with GTM. run by great people who love the university, but if we could get a joint deal with GTM and Lacoste, that could help some of our recruiting, one would think.

I ditched Adidas when I realized I could spend more than $90 on shoes. Ya, Copa's are nice, but when the Mercurial's came out...

Adidas couldn't carry Nike's jock in a fork lift (which they couldn't really afford because they don't have half Nike's $$)

Fair enough. I loved my Copas, such a classic style, I thought about some Predators too. I'm tainted by Nike tossing money at soccer products only to have them suck, circa mid to late 90s, particularly with goal keep stuff.

But with basketball, nothing better than Nikes. I think my penny hardaways were the best shoes I've worn.

Penny Hardaways are definitely the best shoes ever made. They don't make 'em like that anymore. The new stuff is boring... it's almost like they have regressed since the 90's.
