no one. NO ONE can objectively argue adidas being better than nike. nike being better than adidas in everything is one of the most irrefutable facts in the universe. the ONLY reason why any stars/schools/leagues choose adidas is because they dump boatloads of money on them. only an insane moron would choose adidas over nike if money was equal.

adidas has never, NEVER, made a good looking basketball shoe. not one.
i would rather play basketball in starbury shoes than adidas shoes.
if k-state were to choose adidas i would see it as the single worst decision in the programs history.
all of the sane ku fans i know lament no longer being a nike school and wish they could go back.

But GTM could be a serious player. Would it be weird? Well, no one knows who the hell they are. It would be a huge step forward for them. But when was the last time you saw KState in a Nike commercial? I don't think I ever have. I've seen KU in ADIDAS commercials.

GTM is a $60MM+ local company. 6 year, $30MM deal that includes promotional advertising is not out of their reach.

I'd hate to lose Nike, but would take GTM over ADIDAS.
