Guy that wears a little stocking hat the whole time he works out was there today.  He is in pretty good shape.  I wonder if the little stocking hat he wears helps him? :dunno:

it's like once you're in awesome shape you can wear anything. "man he looks weird as hell, but hey, he's in shape, more power to him."

24 Hour Fitness on Ward Parkway is just great.

that used to be my rock house, way too busy.
I go to the one off shawnee mission pkwy, in shawnee. It has a bball court.

I go to the one in OP on Metcalf. It has a court as well.

Lifetime is nice but it is really expensive.

Athletic Club of OP? That's where I go. They have two courts. There's 3 goals on each court.

Is he very noisy when he works out i.e. grunts a lot, drops weights, generally makes a spectacle of himself?

What about the ginormous chode-ish 40 year old guy that wears a large sweat shirt, hat, and gloves? He also has anti-gravity arms. Maybe 5'-2", 240 lbs.

Bunch of old guys at my joint wear coats, hats, sweats, etc.  They think that their HS coach from 1956 and his advice is still correct in that dressing like that when working out is better because it makes you hot as balls.

He really isn't too bad.  He grunts a little, but isn't a weight dropper.  I fracking hate weight droppers.  This isn't the fracking Olympics.  There is this little big dude that I really haven't seen in a while, but used to be there like every time I am there.  He is about 5'2", but is in pretty damn good shape.  All of his clothes were spandex.  All of them.  I bet he would buy spandex shoes and socks if they made them. (do they make them :dunno: ).  Anyway, that little bastard would drop the weights from max height after his last rep every single set and it drove me crazy.

There's a couple of older guys that just started going to my gym that show up in jeans and work boots and use leather gloves. Pretty great.

Old guy at my gym wears the same outfit every day. Athletic shoes, jeans, white button down collared shirt, and a sweater vest. It is very odd.

Fantastic day at the gym yesterday.  Some old dude in leather sandals and khaki pants.  He was doing pull downs on the cables then in between he would back up, look in the mirror and do karate kicks.   :excited:  Almost Daniel son, crane style karate kicks.  His form was off a bit in that his arms weren't high enough, but I think he'll get there.

Karate guy back today with khakis. Not sure what his plan is, but I'm no trainer so what do I know?  Speaking of, what do you think of shorty, pudgy guys as personal trainers?  I see this dude training people every day and he is kind of fat. I would be pissed if he yelled at me do do a few more reps or something.

I appreciate the disregard of "old naked guy" in this thread since every gym has old naked guy.  However, yesterday there was an old naked guy that set the standard for all old naked guys going forward at the gym.  I walked in the locker room and proceeded to the bathroom/shower area and old naked guy is standing in front of the mirror (old and naked of course) using the blow dryer to dry off his man parts.  I kind of shake my head and proceed to the urinal and when I return he is still there and is using the complimentary spray deoderant on his ass and balls.   :cyclist:

I don't wipe it down unless there is visible sweat. If you are so :ohno: about germs i'll let you wipe it down.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

I can't imagine any germs transferring that way to begin with. But visible sweat needs to be wiped off.

Also at my gym there are two old ladies like in their 50's or 60's that are in pretty good shape but think it is necessary to wear spandex shorts and a sports bra and nothing else. Very attention-whorish. One of them has some poor middle-aged man come talk to her while she does situps or something. He looks like he really wants to bang her but she just seems to enjoy the attention.
