Don't get your panties in a twist about this. I would rather they errored on the side of caution here. Okie State was reporting bowl gifts that players were selling for extra cash. I don't think the K-state program could withstand sanctions without serious setbacks.

Isn't it possible they knew there was no chance in hell that he would be cleared by the second half but they wanted it to sound like they were working diligently to support their student athlete?

That could very well be the case Rams . . . just like what I am talking about could very well be the case.

But when a basketball coach is saying that he doesn't think his player did anything, and is saying that K-State is err'ing with the side of caution, then that gives me a strong indication that it was a relatively minor thing.

If it comes out that JaSam got a $25K pre-paid Visa card from an agent, then I might change my mind/thoughts . . . slightly.
