Any Santorum supporters in here? And none of that cop out B.S. You either adopt him as a candidate for all the bullcrap he spews..or none of it. But picking and choosing to support your argument for your average conservative Christian like Santorum makes sense. He does it for the Bible all the time.

Rick Santorum is as republican as republican can be. You would be hard pressed to find a candidate with a voting record more in line with the Republican Party. He even "took one for the team" and voted for No Child Left Behind even though he did not personally like the bill. All it took was for the bill to be sponsored by George Bush. The problem is that, as you said, there are serious problems with the republican platform. They are only fiscally conservative when it comes to making sure the poor don't get any benefits. They love spending money in other government sectors.

if this is as true as you insist it is -there are a lot of people out there that are not republican even though they claim they are.  Far more people I'd wager than those that are so socially conservative they'd qualify as a fred phelps  klan member.
