I'm pretty sure the answer lies in the order you type tsc. Of course it applies to WSU, even if they play a Big 12 team. Obvious exception would be KU because KU has an s and a c.

Do the Team>State>Conference math and it's really easy to figure out.

Practice Problem:

Baylor vs Wichita St.
Apply the TSC method...we would realize Wichita is in the State of Kansas. State>Conference so Wichita St. would be the correct answer.

Here is the tricky one...
KU vs Wichita St.
Both are in the state of Kansas. We would have to go to the next level (conference). Since KU is in the conference, we would cheer for EMAJ in this matchup.

the problem is, i'd be sympathetic to an argument to root/cheer for a conference team, say texas e.g., over wsu. i like the big 12 more than i like wsu. i mean, eff wsu.

well in that case you have to change it to team conference state. not real hard.

oh man, i would definitely cheer for Texas over WSU. I love texas. We should change it to TTSC (team texas state conference).

Yeah, maybe tcs is a better way of phrasing it. Then we can still root for Beems to be happy if they play the wushox.

Not sure what's better for me. Generally, getting WSU gone makes it easier to watch Cat games. With this Saturday being St. Patty's Day (real), may be better to have them around to encourage bars to focus on hoops.

See, I'm the opposite. I have really no reason to not like them. I guess I'm not from Wichita though, nor do i know any WSU fans, so maybe that's why.
