In one of those montages at the end, Currie needed to be pointing things out to the Foreman and correcting the construction workers

my dad's company came in like 3rd or 4th on the bidding for this thing, or i'd be scoopin the hell out of this  :(

5mil seems a bit high.  2 seems closer.

and those hydroworx pools are badass.  arkansas (i know, racists) has 3 of them that run 12 hours a day with track dudes going at full speed for 30min a clip.

A lot of rumors that adding a tunnel would make the BTF legally an upgrade to Bramlage.  As such, Bramlage would be subject to the most current facility codes, which as it currently is would not be compliant.  A large portion of those costs would come from that, along with possible capacity reductions as well.

That doesn't pass the smell test to me.  Typically you can connect an expansion to an existing building, and not have to do much to the existing building, as long as the expansion is separated by a 3-hour fire rated wall.  The excessive cost probably has more due to having to dig up parts of the existing foundations of Bramlage and having do deal with any buried utility lines and/or dead hookers you find down there.

Note to Self:  Only go through tunnels built by the guys who say it would be more expensive.   Do NOT go through any tunnels built by guys who say, "Sounds kinda high".
