I showed off my vintage K-State F.A.N. shirt--the first ever ksu_FAN creation, if I remember, and the source of his screenname. Still remember ordering those at Ballard's back in '99.

Group photos were taken and I'm sure will be posted once the appropriate PAKhead adjustments are made.

Highlights of the afternoon:

Pete and JD leading the bar in the K-S-U cheer.

About 3:00 pm, the Puerto Rican flag and the goEMAW giant head were placed above the booth to serve as a beacon to PAKers. About 5:00 pm, an assistant manager-type came over and told Pete to take it down. PAKers informed him it had been up all afternoon. He said it hadn't. PAKers laughed and asked why he hated America. He said the flag wasn't American. PAKers laughed and asked why he was racist. He left, then came back a few minutes later and told Pete to take it down again. But then the big-shot manager came up and told the assistant manager, "It's fine." Assistant manager left in humiliation as PAKers celebrated their victory.

thx slim. if there's one thing that i know in this world...it's that pakrs always win. always. especially at bars. always. always.

I'm gonna say I know big-shot manager. Was

all through high school with one that's been there through the wooly/huggs/frank years. Does this make me elite?

Our football team made a bowl game this year... Doesn't exactly scream 'suck' to me. We had a large following for WBB when Football and MBB were in the Top 25 under McCarney and Morgan as well.

Pak'd the entire day and am surprisingly feeling pretty good. I cannot recommend GB enough. Their management is very goEMAW friendly.

Pak Update:

At the game Thurs we ran into some OSU rapist apologists. Pretty disgusting people, IMO. Trim was yelling from the upper decks at a guy in a Sherron jersey, calling him a rapist. Two OSU fans turn to Trim and tell him to knock it off, and ask "Well, was he ever accused of it?" I let them know of course he was rough ridin' accused of it as Trim tries to explain it to these assholes. Trim tacks on to the end of the story "and he has a small dick." The lightning quick OSU fans shoot back, "Have you ever seen his dick?" to let us know that they apparently have seen Sherron's dick size and Trim was out of bounds. At this point we all pretty much start laughing at them. They do not return for the second half.

Later we roll to the classiest fracking place in KC, Touché. The place is very Katpak friendly.

Quick update from postgame last night: if Pete has any diseases that can be transmitted via spit, there's an old ku fan who now has that disease.

Old??? Sounds like you guys may have gone back to Touché. If you did, I'm curious to know if the old asian broad I was supposed to meet was there?
