Why does High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) suck so much? Like, I never get any better at it, and it's not fun at all.

I love it.  The point is to never get better at it, just keep making it harder.  How long have you been doing it?  If more than a couple months, go back and look at your original workouts and you should be able to  at them.

I have a complex that I have been doing as a 1/3rd portion any given night's work out that is pretty hard and hits a ton of muscles at once:

Can use individual DB in each hand or a bench bar.

I have been using the 35# DBs.  do all excercises immediately after each other.  Rest about 1.5 min in between rounds.  All moves to finish up on toes in an explosive motion.

 - upright rows  - 8 reps
 - High pull snatches - 8 reps
 -Body squats with OH press
 - Bent over rows(no toes finish on this one) - 8 reps
 - High pull snatches - 8 reps

Rest then repeat 2 more times

When performed at approximately the same speeds, running burns about twice as many calories as cycling. If your main concern is getting the most out of your workout in terms of calories burned, running is your best choice.

aka biking sucks and makes you look like a douche.
Yes, I'm sure if I were biking while you were running along side me, I probably wouldn't burn too many calories.  But if you could run up to 40mph, then yeah, run everywhere.

Anyway, I run and I bike.  I do wear bikers shorts for the padding, but I wear gym shorts over them, so you don't see them.  I wear normal t-shirts.  No gloves.  Just like I'm going to the gym, except I'm on a bicycle.  Biking doesn't put as much strain on your joints as running.  If you're keeping your heart rate up and not just cruising around it is a pretty good cardio workout.  I run more often than I bike, but sometimes you gotta change it up.

biking doesn't strain your joints because it's not exercise. Wearing gym shorts over your bike shorts does not impress me at all.

Ran 2 miles in 15 minutes about 2 hours after eating McDonald's. Guarantee that's tougher than yoga.

Everything. Greg Glassman, the programming, the workouts, the games.

Greg Glassman aside, I don't understand what "crossfitters" are trying to accomplish.

AMRAP for time with 95 lb snatches sounds like a fantastic way to injure yourself.

If you want to be all-around physically fit, why not design a program that doesn't have such a high probability of major injury, or worse yet, rhabdo?

I don't agree with everything but a lot of the workouts are great. I'm not sure what you mean by "accomplish", I'm sure everyones goal is different but my goal is to be physically fit and look good naked(not joking at all) oh and kick both of my brothers asses in the workouts.  I like the competition of it and being able to have things to work on and seeing improvements.  It's also a great way to meet new people. If you have good programming it really is pretty great.
It gets a bad rap because it has this brand name of crossfit.  everyone associates it with something but if I did a workout that someone else did and just called it a workout no one would say anything but you do that workout and say its crossfit all of a sudden its taboo in some peoples mind.
