Doing the same on a 16 pack of miller aluminum bottles

Gonna take awhile. Pretty sure Miller is low on the carbs bro. I'm guessing you're drinking Lite not MGD.

Trying my hand at meathead's carb crushing diet. Just pounded out a pull-day workout. Currently going to town on a large Pan Pepperoni from the Hut and two 12 oz. bottles of Mexi-Pepsi.

Dude, that's nothing like what I'm doing.

SdK would like a a 3 day a week work out plan. Not necessarily amounts of weight, just stuff to do. Work has a complete gym and full bball court. Plan to work out 3 times a week and ball the other night. Then do cool crap like soccer and kayaking and hiking and cycling on the weekends.

I want to get soccer sexy.

A good full body beginner routine from some dude named all pro. This should set you up for at least 6 months.

A Simple beginner's Routine
You will do 3 work outs per week on non consecutive days. The first work out is your heavy work out. The second work out is your medium work out, use 10% less weight for your work sets. The final work out for the week is your lite work out, use 20% less weight.

Do a lite warm up with 1/4 of your work sets weight. Do a medium warm up with 1/2 of your work sets weight. Do 2 work sets with the same weight. Choose a starting weight and start light.

These are the seven exercises you will be starting with.

Squats
Bench Presses
Bent-Over Rows
Overhead Barbell Presses
Stiff-Legged Deadlifts
Barbell Curls
Calf Raises

You will be running this program on a five week cycle as follows:
The first week do all 4 sets for 8 reps.
The second week do all 4 sets for 9 reps.
The third week do all 4 sets for 10 reps.
The fourth week do all 4 sets for 11 reps.
The fifth week do all 4 sets for 12 reps.
If you got all of the required reps on the fifth week then increase the weight by 10% and

repeat the cycle. If you didn't get all of the reps on the fifth week then repeat the cycle with the same weight. You shouldn't need more than one minute rest between the warm up sets and you shouldn't need more than one minute thirty seconds between the work sets.
Do some cardio and abs work on non weight training days.

BTW, some days it's really hard to get motivated or find energy for leg day.

There's a pretty elite gym at work. So i have no excuse. Also found a guy that is  committed to working out every day after work. So that will help.

That's one thing I like about social media fitness sites. Motivation to keep going even though you're never with them.

Started lifting weights weights almost a month ago, haven't ever seriously lifted before in my life. Have lost about five pounds of fat and gained five pounds of muscle. I'm feeling like a total stud, and don't dread going to the gym like I did when I was running for exercise. Wish I would have started this a long time ago.

Do your best and forget the rest. That includes forgetting about the 40 beers.

Anyone else have trouble with squats?  My heart starts racing every time pretty good. It seems like no lift should be this difficult.

Squats are more of a full body lift than you might think. Do you do other full body lifts such as dead lift or overhead press?
