That link requires your body fat % to get started.  did you guess or did you do something to determine it?

It calculates it for you using your height, weight, age, gender and average level of physical activity.

Huh, it's not for me.  It keeps telling me "Current body fat required" after I fill out those things and hit calc.

Weird, that space is grayed out for me. Are you selecting a body type?

It wants me to eat 54 grams of fiber per day.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

I have noticed that I'm going to have to change a few things really quickly. I thought I had a lot of wiggle room with 50g+ of fat, but that quickly evaporates if you drink whole milk.

50 grams of fat a day is crazy low. I could never, ever do that.

I started looking into the macro thing and found that other sources were way off from what MFP recommends.  I discussed it ITT a while ago.  I am sure you are up to date on things like that, but my macros were way off.  Like over 200% for protein, for example.

I linked this site in my original post, http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/. It's recommended as a good starter site for calculating your macro levels by Dr. Layne Norton, a natural bodybuilder and powerlifter, who is probably the face of flexible dieting/ IIFYM.

I used that website to calculate what my macro intake levels should be at and then adjusted those levels in the MFP app.

Hitting my protein (193g/pd) and fat (51g/pd) goals won't be too hard, but holy eff, I'm not sure how in the eff I'm supposed to eat 463g of carbs per day.

What is that g/pd unit?

OK, thought I was missing something there.  Was reading it as grams per pound or grams per pound day or something like that.  The extra / made it confusing.

Yes, I agree but the calculator lists grams per day so I think that's what it is.

So according to this calculator I should only eat 1410 calories per day. Do you think I can get Gooch to give me a calorie count for every meal he cooks? This seems like a real pain. Do you guys really do this for every meal?

Can we make this like the credit card thread where I just tell you my fitness goals and someone here tells me what to eat and what to do at the gym?

Better yet, I'll post here what I ate for dinner and then someone can tell me what to eat for lunch the next day to get to the right total for the "day" (which will actually be a 24 hour period of time from 12pm to 12pm).

So I don't take any supplements other than a pre-workout. I love the one I have now but I'm about out and I'm starting to build up a tolerance to it.

What do you guys take or have had before that was good? This is what I have been using and it's awesome for those that are looking for something else too.

Caffeine pills for me. 95% of supplements are complete bullshit, and insanely expensive for what you are actually purchasing.
