CNSWife is a teacher and today is the end of the year.  Starting Monday I am going to try to transition to working out in the mornings rather than the evenings and every day rather than every other day and one day on the weekends.

Not looking forward to the transition, but am looking forward to feeling all day how I feel all evening after I work out.

Going to make espresso shots and fridge them overnight to get my ass up for the first few days.

I will say this about xfit affiliates, they tend to have the best equipment of all commercial gyms. usually their membership prices are absolutely insane, though. if you don't mind me asking, yla, how much does yours run a month?

that's not too steep. I know of some people who have paid over $200 a month for a membership at a box.

There should be zero bowling alleys in Swolieville, USA.  Zero.

Worked shoulders,  back, chest, and arms out super hard sat.  Got home and CNSWife has a bowling thing planned with the kids.  So I bowl about 1.5hr post work out and now have huge knots in my shoulder and left hip from it.  Bad combo.

I am looking at starting a program that has a component to it that pairs two exercises that are to be done on a 20sec work/60sec rest interval for 15 min or so.  Ideally, I could get a watch or something that would give me a warning beep or something indicating a programmable set of time to accomplish this without constantly having to hold a stop watch or something.  Anyone know of anything?

There are a number of phone apps with this exact purpose in mind

I don't work out with my phone.  Don't want to ruin it and figure I have a higher chance of doing so if I strap it to the side of me while working circuits and sweating like crazy.

I was hoping there would be an alternative

when i work out with my phone, i put it in a ziplock sandwich bag to protect it from my sweat tsunami.

doesnt really add much protection when i accidentally launch it out of my pocket, tho

you need to make a custom playlist or track for your ipod shuffle or whatever that has music intervals and maybe signal noises for your desired intervals

The old Nike+ thing for the ipod used to have something similar only for running, that would beep when you hit a certain distance or time.  It would force the beep over whatever music you had on the ipod.  I would love for something like that since I already use the ipod, but would be ok with it being a watch or something too.

Guys, I've moved from Swolieville to Flabbyville.

 :runaway:
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
